Beach Wedding Cake Toppers

I want a theme for my wedding that would be fairly inexpensive. I want it to be something fairly casual because we feel his family would be uncomfortable with black tie. I have thought about a beach theme but i need more ideas and details. Please any suggestions!!!

I am making a wedding card box for my sister-in-laws wedding and its a beach theme. I am making the box look like a sand castle. The materials I am using is a round hat box and styrofoam. I need something that is going to make the paint on the materials look like a sand finish. My main issue is the styrofoam… any suggestions?

my sister is getting married in the summer. its a beach theme. my family wants to surprise my sister and soon to be brother-in-law. the pictures will be taken by a photographer. thanks for helping out.

My cousin is getting married and the theme of the wedding is beach theme. She does not want to use balloons or crepe paper for her reception. What is another creative idea to decorate without using either balloons or crepe paper. We will be decorating poles, tables, floors, everything!
We are already using tule.

is it honeydoo or honeydew? and what is done there? i know it’s for couples, but is it set up like a bridal shower? i’ve never been to one but i want to have a beach theme honeydoo for all of our friends. some tips/suggestions?

I’m getting married on the beach and would like my guests to throw rose petals at my "husband and I" as we return down the aisle. Any ideas on how I can put the rose petals on each guests chair and make it easy for them to throw them? Please keep in mind the beach theme.

I will be having a tropical beach theme for a wedding reception and would like to have starfish on the table, they need to be at least an inch in diameter.
looking for either the dried (dead) starfish or the sugar starfish

Also, I am very close to my soon to be sister in laws and they really want to have a bridal shower for me, but since I am having the wedding and reception seperate I am afraied it will not be proper etiquete to have a bridal shower. Please let me know your thoughts and any suggestions you have is appreciated.
